The AP 5402ST D Series Royal Oak is the pioneering watch that ignited the luxury sports watch revolution. Designed by the legendary Gerald Genta for Audemars Piguet, this timepiece was truly groundbreaking. Launched in 1972, the Royal Oak was released in four series: A, B, C, and D. While the A-Series is the most coveted, every version of the ref. 5402 is a prized collectible today. This particular D-Series model, from the late 1970s or early 1980s, is especially rare, with only a few hundred pieces produced.
