COMEX was the first experimental diving and engineering organization in the commercial market from 60’s to 80’s leading the world in off-shore operations. Rolex partnered with COMEX to develop many advances submariner. The Model 5514 only exists with the COMEX dial which makes it super collectible among collectors. The watch was only given to their employees and never advertises in the commercial market. It has the unique helium escape valve on the left side of the case.
